Nice Rover and another job well done.

I've always had a thing for Rovers...but not sure I would dish out the cash for them

I like the home, looks great :thumb:

So roughly wait a minute or so before buffing off?

Superb job Ken as usual. I have used the Auto Balm a number of times now and it has done extremely well. Its on my Jeep and its been on for almost 5 months and still going strong. I want to try something new on the Jeep but want to see just how long Auto Balm will last. Oh and when I did my Jeep I did the whole thing and then waited another 30 minutes before I buffed it off. I thought my arm would literally fall off trying to remove it.

krshultz has used it when he helped me on a black suburban so I had already warned him as to how to apply only a 2x2 area and then buff off. You made the black on that Rover look brand new!

As soon as I apply a 2x2 area then I remove it. Don't wait more than a minute or you might regret it, LOL.

ken..the Rover looks great! I also really like the look of the BF tire gel. I've still got the DP gel, but the BF looks wetter. Smart decision to carry that line of BH products!

I would wait max 10 - 20 seconds. Seriously, apply some on a fender like you normally would a wax and wait about 2 minutes and try to remove it. Your neighbors will hear language I promise they've never heard before! LOL

You're nucking futs!! I only did one whole fender before buffing off and that was ridiculous. Your whole truck?:yikes: I'll be back. I'm laughing so hard I'm crying and can't see my screen!!

I just got some Auto Balm recently, and I used it for the first time last night. I like this stuff a LOT. It's been nasty and rainy since yesterday afternoon, so no pics, and no decent light to see the stuff in. But the beading is really, really tight, and the finish is impossibly slick. You're also right, Ken, that you don't need much of it *at all* when applying it. Thin is good.

It sort of doesn't smell very good  . But I got over that.

You know what? Just for grins, I left some of it to sit on part of the driver side rear fender, nice and thick, just to see. Uh, yeah...that stuff needs to be buffed off FAST.

Thanks for the tips on using it! Looking forward to the budget detail I'm doing this weekend - with all its filling ability, it should be just the trick.

That is the understatement of the year! I should have the BH Autowash, Clay and AutoBalm in stock in about 6 weeks. The hands of time turn slowly in the UK.

Great job. How long did it take you to do the whole detail?

Aw man how do people notice this stuff haha. It took me like 10 minutes to spot it.

    Looks great!

I have been using Auto balm since the beginning of last summer. I think the jar will last me the rest of my life! A little bit goes a loooong way...

I agree. Thats what drives me nuts. Make the container a little smaller, charge a little less and everyone is happy. I don't want a jar of wax that will last me 4 years.
