    Hey Guys!
I have always just rinced off whatever I could get with my PW then hand wash and rinse the vehicle. I have never used a foam cannon but it seems that a lot of you do. Could anyone fill me in on the pros/cons which to buy which not to buy etc....?
Does it just replace your prssure washer gun? I don't know anything about em.
    Thanks :headbang:

Well lets see, from my point of view, I just use it to strip LSP and have fun. I use it once in awhile, not every wash since it's not needed, Mainly on really dirty cars. Btw, I have a cam spray, pretty much same thing as a foam cannon.

The foam cannon/cam spray is an attachment to your PW gun/trigger, just like all the different lances etc.

I'd recommend getting a foam cannon since it's cheaper than a camspray.
HD Foam Lance - Polished Bliss Car Care and Detailing Products
$75 shipped to the US (you choose your attachment)

I got my cam spray + attachments for $100...

Both do the same thing, theres a video on this forum where someone compared the two...

    Pros:
    - Engulf all loose dirt/grime with the foam so there's less when you actually do the 2 bucket wash
    - Strip LSP pretty fast
    - Loosen dirt/grime
    - Fun

    Cons:
    - Cost ($75-$100)
    - Soap, you tend to want to buy more and more to play with the gun

I just went and looked at the posted page and it sounds pretty sweet ! My question now is that I have a craftsman PW and did not see it listed . But I also have a couple different guns . the crafstman one and then one I got from Northern tool with a tornado effect nozzle. If I was to buy it, I would imagine I could buy adapters if they didn't match ?

Uh, you have to ask them about that, I don't know. I have a karcher so it's easy peasy for me.

I actually wash faster with 2BM and with the foam clinging on the paint, it dries too... well in Texas weather that is.

do they make them that just attach to your garden hose? I ask because it seems the foam soaking is what is actually doing the work then pressure wash it off correst or no? Or would you not get the foaming action with a garden hose that is needed?
    Thanks Again !

Way more foam with the pressure washer, garden hose ones are too watery and the soap doesnt cling

So the foam dries pretty fast too? That is what I thought would be benificial is if it actually stayed wet on warm paint long enough for you to get around the car to rinse/wash/rinse
    I don't have a wash bay but hopefully someday. washbay/paint booth I can't wait.

I just went through this myself, trying to figure out what fits my Craftsman PW. I picked up an AutoBrite cannon and picked up most of the necessary parts @ my local Lowe's and PressureParts.com.

Seaerch for my thread, and it should help you.

    BTW: It's loads of fun!
