where do you guys get your tripods? I don't wanna spend an arm and a leg on one, I just want a decent one that will work well...

    TIA.

I've been doing some reading and that a decent tripod would start at $120 or so and should look for Bogen/Manfrotto. However, this is for DSLR's so maybe what you're looking for is for your P&S camera?

I got this one at Best Buy and it was only $30 on sale when I got it. Looks like its back at normal price but still only $40. It works great for me and seems pretty sturdy.

I picked mine up from B&H. Manfrotto 190CX3 Tripod with a Manfrotto 322RC2 head and I couldnt be happier with it.

Bogen is good. The only reason I know is because I've used them for TV studio stuff. Expensive though : )

Ah ok, well I think it'll come down to preference for you then, hehe. Personally, I'd still pick up the Bogen/Manfrotto, even for that type of camera.

I'll check it out at Best Buy. I like the price, I'm not a pro, I need it just for a few "during the detail " shots. NEED MONEY FOR CR SPOTLESS!!! Thanks, again!
