hey guys well lately iv been thinking about purshasing a new camera icture: reason for needing a new camera is taking picture for my upcoming grad and the vehicles im working on for mechanics i wanna get somthing that is worth every penny and that is around 700$ or less and so if you guys could be kind enough to share the knowledge of the things i need to know so i can make a smart buy. in advance thanks for sharing guys keep on trucken! :headbang:
Polo I would recommend a Cannon, $700 should get you a decent camera...like the one I got, you've seen the one I got. So when's grad? Am I coming? I wouldn't mind snapping some icture:
Yeah, for 700 bucks you definitely get a good camera. Canon is always a good choice, maybe overall the best camera producer at the moment (I am not working for Canon but use a Canon cam myself).
The more I read about superzooms, the more I'm leaning toward them. The micro4/3 lens system of panny/olympus allows for interchangeable lenses, and the flip-out viewfinder, live view, and built-in macro mode all seem worthy features, especially for detailers. Cost is about the same as a midpoint amateur enthusiast dslr, like the XSi. The Canon SX1 is due out next month, and the Panny GH1 may be out by graduation (June). Both use CMOS sensors (not CCD) which theoretically has lower noise. And both can do video...not just vga video, but full 1080p HD. My concern is still the number of pixels packed into such a small sensor size.
Sony a200/a320. They're just as good as the entry level Canon's, and a couple hundred less. Plus they have the Carl Zeiss lenses when you get good, and feel like dropping a couple grand on good glass. For your price range, you can't go wrong. They also have decent aftermarket support (not like Nikon/Canon obviously).
how much are we talking here carlos??? o by the way carlos i wanna ask yea a favor if you want to donate money for cruis cuts for cancer im getting my head shaved on monday march 30th!!
