What (if anything) do I need under these waxes?

Hello everyone,

Got a couple new waxes to try out (special thanks to a DB member, package arrived today :thumb: ) - Glasur and Migliore Frutta. Definitely excited to try Glasur - heard great things about it. Question, though - I don't have any "wax prep" products like HDC, GEPC, LPL, or SVCF. I've typically washed, clayed, polished, then either wax, or sealant and then wax.

Can I top Glasur over CG EZCreme and/or JS109? What about Glasur over Colli 845?

Thanks in advance!! Will probably experiment a bit in a few weeks as the weather keeps warming up.

 

Try them out over jetseal. I can't see how you wouldn't get great results.

 

I would keep waxes over sealants and glazes...i wouldnt layer 2 different nubas, there may be nothing wrong with it but i just wouldnt do it

 

Glasur over Jetseal is pure money!!

A couple of examples:

 

I use Glasur all by itself. Still looks great as a standalone product.

I stopped using glaze a couple years ago. I like sealant better.

 

i have come to find sv cleaner fluid topped with one coat of js109 topped with one coat of SV BOS is going strong for close to or at 6 months.. still beading.. so it really does help with bonding and does add a bit of gloss thanks to the oils it nourishes the clear coat with.. the best paint cleanser i have used is cf cleaner fluid.. i don't like doing prep sol and stuff like that because it is very harsh on the clear coat. but to each their own and i totally respect other opinions and methods..just wouldn't want to use them on every tyoe of paint or clear coat.. but many have with stellar results.. just saying what i have found to work the best and sv cleaner fluid is by far the best imo.. way way better than hd cleanse.
