I've been detailing a black 2005 Corvette C6 the past couple days. I've already compounded with Pro Ultimate Cutter with a Meguiar's burgundy cutting pad and accomplished some intermediate refinement with Menzerna SIP and a white Lake Country CCS polishing pad. I plan to finish tomorrow using Menzerna 106FA on a Meguiar's tan finishing pad. I always intend to take a lot of pictures when I begin a detail; however, due to time constraints and my lack of photography skills, I never take as many as I would like. Anyhow, thought I would share since I'm stuck in the house with detailing on my mind. This is the only picture of the entire vehicle I managed to take. The vehicle was covered in swirls and rids. Here are some pictures of the lower portion of the passenger quarter panel and door depicting the overall condition of the vehicle. The same areas following compounding with Pro Ultimate Cutter and swirl removal via Menzerna SIP. The left side of the door has been refined via Menzerna SIP while the right side has only seen compound. A shot of the back end following refinement via Menzerna SIP. I'll have to try and do a write-up when I'm completely finished. Thanks!
