    ...and do so quickly.

I think it varies from store to store, and I bet calling on the phone will go nowhere, so you may as well check in person if you're close.

I just found Vroom drying towels for $3.66/ea. on closeout.

I went to two stores today. One had them, one did not. So it's going to vary for sure, but it's certainly worth a look.

Damnit! Well mine were at least 5 bucks on clearance. I like them a lot actually, not AS much as my Amazing Dryer, but I definitely prefer microfiber drying towels over waffle weave.

The "red tag" on the two I bought was a couple layers thick. I'm guessing they drop the price, and drop it some more, until they sell what they're trying to sell. Had they had 20 of them, I'd have bought the whole lot. Just like when I bought the last 8 Grecian Wonder sponges at Advance Auto for fifty cents a piece

I really like them as well, as does JL. I've got two Amazing Dryers, which I also like a lot, and now, four Vrooms. I'm with you on the waffle ones as well - I know a lot of folks like them, I guess I just prefer these.

What keeps surprising me about the Vroom is how well it's holding up. Mine gets used a LOT, and it just keeps going. Hard to believe these are at Target. I hope the discount doesn't imply that they're going to stop carrying them.

I do love these drying towels. I also agree that they hold up as well if not better than any other drying MFs. I'm not a fan of WW MF for drying about the only thing I use WWs on is glass. I'll be making a trip to Target to see how many I can find. I also like to have a seamstress I know cut them in half and sew the edges up so I get two perfect size drying MFs for the price of one.:applause2:

okay, after trying 3 different Targets I'm wondering if I'm looking for the wrong thing. Are the towels you guys buying specifically labeled "Drying"? I've seen orange, white, grey MF towels labeled "detailing" and some striped ones labeled "multi-purpose", but nothing labeled "drying".

    thanks!

If i recall, i think it does say "drying." It's a big plushy MF, yellow in color.

I got the cheap 20pk white mf for wheels etc, so far they're holding up pretty well - minus that they look dirty after a wipe.

I wonder if they are getting a new shipment in or they are replacing it with something better? Oh well, if it isn't better I now have 4 Vrooms and one Amazing Dryer. I really like these towels!

I use the orange ones for wheels etc., and use the gray ones for interiors. Great value for money!

They're large, with a thick paper sleeve around them, labeled "drying towel" among all the other words on the label. Colors vary - the two I bought for cheap are tan. My other one is orange.

Also, I did notice that the ones I bought yesterday were pretty dusty - probably from sitting on the store shelf. I washed them before I used them, which is something I do with microfibers by policy anyway.

okay so after checking 5-6 targets over the past month, I finally ended up buying a couple WW towels from Werkstat when I ordered some more of their spray bottles. So I go to target tonight and there they are, $7.84 each. I picked up 2 and some new green window cleaning MF towels (3 pack for $4.99).

    Thanks again for the tip.
