Thanks Strs90! I was eager to try the foam lance, so I tried it out after work... Here are some photos. I used approx. 3oz. of DP Extreme Foam car wash soap and the rest of the bottle filled with water.
Wow, Thats thick foam. I have some of that DP Extreme. I think I'll try that next...:thumb::thumb::thumb:
Actually it originated at PolishedBliss.. and I kinda owe Rich for it.. I ordered a Bosch adapter and they accidentally sent me a whole 'nother foam lance.. so I sold it. So thanks PolishedBliss. Oh, and the foam looks sweet.. glad you were able to get it connected.
Nice, just be careful with Xtreme foam. I found that 4oz was enough to strip the protection on my car
I been using DP X for a while i thoght it didnt strip LSP thanks for the info. How about CG MAXI SUDS ll would that strip LSP?
I washed our Corolla today and tried the foam lance with the Optimum soap this time. Same approx. dosage of 3oz. like the prior wash. Definitely, Optimum Car wash is the winner. These photos were taken not long after the car was foamed. However the foam did not drip off much more than that. It stayed on the paint. :applause2: BTW: the Optimum soap took care of whatever was left of the LSP on the roof. Water was barely cascading off of the roof.
+2 here!!! That is oh so true. When I got mine working as expected on the 2nd car I foamed, I had about 4 oz. of Adam's Car Wash in there and it was looking like Edge Gel on the paint. I start hootin' and hollering so loud that my neighbor came out to see what the hell was going on.
