I need to post this right away because I mistakenly advised people that the Enviro Shield sealant that some of us are testing right now would be available in the very near future for sale. I was wrong about that. This product has been in the works for years and was actually shelved for a long time because it was too far ahead of its time when it was initially developed. Jerry and Bill want this product released with no errors and as good as it can possibly be...you can't fault them for that. But, it will not be available for sale for a while. So, PLEASE, don't email or call Jerry and ask him about buying it. When they decide it is ready for market, they will let us all know. It will be worth the wait, in my humble opinion. I own this mistake. I was under the impression that it was market-ready and was more than happy to spread the word of its availability and share the news of its creation to DB members. I was wrong. So, stay tuned, and again, please don't ask the guys at DG about this yet. Sorry for leading y'all astray.
richy, It's OK. Who can help but get excited about something like this. You have been apart of Dura-Gloss for a long time and this was your baby from the get-go. Thank you for being your honest self. We have waited for this for a long time and We can wait a little longer. I'm glad that you have the faith needed to endure this project and the people you hand picked to be apart of this with you. So I just got off the phone with Jerry, telling him richy told me about this awesome stuff called Enviro Shield...
I support Richy 100% on this..sh!t happens....when I spoke to DG it sounded like it was coming out....I myself have tested other stuff for them and never mentioned it as it was on the drawing boards and was not sure it was being released... the economy is a big factor on a lot of products now....it costs to set up and acquire chemicals...and with short money in peoples pockets it very hard to bring new stuff to the market and hope it does well after investing a ton of money to get it going to the public... the economy today is just the beginning.....hold on is all I have to say....in for a big ride.... I know one thing...Richy and I will be using DG and Rocket seal this spring..... Most of the people I do cars for can not spring for the 300-400 for a paint correction and sealant this year....so I bought a Bass boat and said screw it..I will fish all summer .....Richy come on down and fish with me...lol.... Al
I'm actually hoping to bank on detailing this summer. I figure I can play the angle of "why buy a new car, when you can have your's revived to like new condition for WAY less money invested?"
