I recently acquired this power washer which hooks up to an air compressor and water hose. It has a small draw hose that fits in whatever size container that is used for the premixed solution of shampoo/car wash solution. (A 1/2 gallon jug is suggested). It has separate cut offs for warter and air. I would like to give it a try but have no idea what ratio to use for the shampoo/car wash and water solution. The meager instructions give no hint, except after hooking up everything, to turn the water valve OFF and turn the air valve ON. To blast with hot or cold water, turn the water and air valves ON. Just states that the air supply should be 80 psi minimum, water supply 45 psi, and will spray 3.4 gal per minute. I just know that one of you has the answer, even if it to trash can it and get something else. Looking forward to hearing from the forum.
sounds interesting, get some cheap soap and play around with the thing, go soap up some random stuff, and take pictures! I'm pretty sure your going to have to have a pretty stout air compressor to run that thing for any prolonged period of time though. It would ave to move alot of air to be effective.
I have to get some more car wash/shampoo anyway so I will just mix up a batch an see how it goes. Would like to get a good foam going. I have an air compressor that puts out plenty of pressure. The weather here is supposed to be below freezing for the next few days so I will have time to get supplies to check it out when the temp goes back up some.
