Sam's Club has some microfibers on sale for $10.50 for a 24pk. Their 14"x18" which in my opinion is a pretty decent size to dry things off. I'm gonna buy a pack to see how they are and give my review on them for you guys.

EDIT: Sam's Club no longer carries the one above but they have plenty of the Proforce which is pictured below. I've also managed to find some chemical spray bottles didn't get a chance to buy them since I was in a rush. Here are the pics.

Hi, There probably going to be a 80/20 blend. I like the size of 14 x 18 thats a good size. Where I live we go to BJ's and buy pkg's of 40 Micro Fiber towels for 15.00 but the size is a little small 14 X 14 they keep slipping out of your hands. Don't forget to do the CD test...Thanks for doing a review for us...:thumb:

I have actually heard good things about these towels...i would be nervous to use them on paint but for no particular reason..MF doesnt have to be expensive to be good, i just have so many paint towels but i might run over there and pick these up for all purpose towels..thanks for sharing with us

Good point, I remember when I was very nervous to put anything but the nicest quality mf to paint, but after multiple tests and troubleshooting, I have found that even the mf towels at sams are fine so long as the edges aren't stiff.

I know the cd test is a good way to go, but if you have ever polished a car at night under hps you should be able to figure out which towels are safe for paint.

I have used these towels without any problems for 3 years. Before you use you must wash in detergent and viniger. I am in Jacksonville, FL and the towel at my Sams is the 24 pack of proforce microfiber towels #278525. The price is $10.50 and they are available online. I tell you if you try them you'll love them don't take anyones word on this try for your self. If I am wrong you out 10.50 if I am right you will be saving so much.:support:

I picked up a pack of th e blue MFs from Sam's a few months ago and have had zero problems with them. Actually, just used some on a black G35 when polishing and didn't notice any negativee effects under halogens. I use about half / half between these and the nice ones from DD. Use the DD ones for LSP removal as well.

So....I went to Sam's didn't find the Microfibers that I posted the pic of but I did find the Microfibers Pro force that perfection was talking about. I also found some chemical spray bottles and Sprayway glass cleaner.

I apologize for that and I asked Sam's Club about it and they said that they haven't had those microfibers that i posted in the beginning for quite some time now.

    Al-53 Welcome to Detailing

I have used the Sam's Club and Costco MF's for awhile..and no problems...and the CD test is not all that accurate..as some use a softer plastic than others...so a towel may show scratches on one brand and not on another....i have some older Kodak Archival gold cd's....used for long term storage and in the Medical field..and I use them....and again...it may not scratch a CD but may scratch on soft clears...

Any waysthe MF's from Sam's and Costco have proven to be very paint safe on 99% of the paint i do...just wash in Hot water before...gets all the fabric sizing solution out of them...

costco MF towels Suck period ...lint and lint and more lint! plus it falls apart easy

sams club one on the other other hand is pretty decent for the price great regular usage towel...no lint what so ever last pretty long

sams club used to carry Detailer's choice MF towels i believe but switch over to their own brand MF..but i have a feeling its the same towel cause i have been using it for over 3 years and it feels the same
