If you had a choice, which of these would you pick? I wanted to create a poll to ask the community but I can't do that.

Take into consideration all these factors:
    • durability
    • price ($ per oz)
    • refillable option, free refill, etc.
    • 'wow' factor of container
    • uniqueness of wax
    • anything else you want to consider, etc.

I am not looking for the 'best bang for the buck wax' as that has been covered by other threads. The prices listed vary over several sources but not that much.

These are the ones that I'm considering, I do realize that I have left out alot of other waxes (zymol, victoria, etc.), but these are the only ones I'm looking at.

    Which would you pick? :headbang:

    1 - Pinnacle Souveran, 8oz at $95

    2 - Wolfgang Fusion, 8oz at $175 w/ 1 Free Refill

    3 - Blackfire Midnight Sun, 7oz at $80

    4 - CG E-Zyme Natura, 8.5oz at $275

5 - Dodo Juice Supernatural, 8oz at $200 w/ option for paid refills

    6 - Migliore Presidenziale, 6oz at $400

7 - RaceGlaze Black Label, 8oz at $475 w/ option for paid refills

    8 - Adam's Americana, 10oz at $70

    9 - Swissvax Concorso, 6.75oz at $329

Again, not 'best bang for buck wax'...but one that you would love to use on your own car every time. So don't think for business application, but instead personal use. :p

I would vote for Midnight Sun as well, but honestly Zymol Glasur should be on your list!

Souveran doesn't last for crap, it's nice but durability is very weak.

I have/had 6 of the 8 on your list there. Never tried Americana or the new(er) Migliore wax. I sold Souveran and Supernatural due to poor durability. For what it's worth, I almost picked up another pot of the Souveran a few months back when AG had it as a VIP special that I could have added another discount code to. I decided not to though, even at a steal of a price. I have a few (much more expensive) Swissvax options, which makes the Concorso less appealing to me for my own use, but it's still quite good. So, given your list, I'd go with the E-Zyme or Black Label. I have yet to use my Black Label (picked it up from Ken sometime last year, I think), because it comes in by far the best pot I've ever seen, and I want to keep it mint...cause I'm weird like that. Get in touch with Ken, and he can set you up with some at a considerably better price than you have listed here.

Adam's Americana and Blackfire midnight sun are very similar in terms of application and durability.

Fusion is excellent, more glossy and you can get a smaller size for $75 to get you closer to the midnight sun and americana.

I'd get supernatural hybrid again, but not supernatural.

Souveran is very easy to use, looks excellent, but like others menioned, isn't very durable.

If I had that particular budget, my recommendations would be to get a 3oz of fuzion, and either American or Midnight sun.

I doubt he would go for Black Label. It's an expensive wax with "the supposedly "ferrari" style gas cap..." top.:giggle:

Thank you for the replies guys.

Out of the 9 listed, 4 of them really had my hard interest.

They were BFMS, CG Ezyme Natura, Dodo Juice SN, and RG BL.

The others listed, I had some interest in and wanted to see if anyone had some good words about the product. I didn't have much info on them. Surprisingly, no one went for the Miglior or Swissvax.

Out of the 2 refillable options: Dodo and RG, there is a huge price difference, more than double. But these 2 also have the best looking containers. Obviously you would only refill the wax if the product is good.

Out of the 2 non-refillable options: BF and CG, there is also a huge price difference. Neither container is rather special.

I think I would go with either Dodo or CG. Right now I can't justify the extra $200+ difference for RG.

I'll get BF MS later on as it is stil an expensive wax (ie over $50) but that I won't have to dwell too much time on since the price is not as high as the others.

All this can happen if I do a minimum of 75% of allowed mortgage overpayments as per the wife's rules...if I don't make it then it's her wish list item first, and that is way more expensive...wishful thinking guys! Lol

Others can still chime in as well. =)

Well, I doubt my response will hold much weight considering I haven't tried ANY of those LOL.

Now, don't get me wrong, I'm not trying to go against any of your guidelines, but I really like Lusso Oro. It's probably my only "boutique" paste wax, but I love it. Smells great, beads like crazy, easy on, easier off. You can buy 2 of them if you want to splurg :D

Before you go spending tons of money on wax, you need to decide whether or not you are willing to put in the time prepping the car properly before applying. Any of these waxes will look good on well prepared paint so your only concern will be durability and how often you want to reapply. Consequently, all of these waxes will look like ass on a car that is not prepped properly so your investment will be a waste of money. Do you have a polisher? I would suggest getting proficient at paintwork correction and then you can use any LSP you want and it will look fantastic.

Definitely Fuzion (If I went back to using waxes). I've used Fuzion before and I absolutely loved it.
